Tafanejant per la xarxa vaig anar a parar a la web de l’International Observatory Of Theatres At Risk. Observar la transformació de la ciutat, des de l’òptica sensible de l’Espectador –aquell qui mira amb atenció–, contribuir a la preservació de la memòria col·lectiva, obrir portes i finestres que ens refresquin les idees, i establir vincles fonamentats en Afinitats Electives són, també, el meu objectiu. INTERNATIONAL OBSERVATORY OF THEATRES AT RISK
The Observatory for Theatres at Risk intends to be a collecting point for information on theatre spaces under threat. It should be the first step in order to recover them.
Nowadays, not just the theatral spaces, the theatres, but also spaces with potential performing, are at risk. At other times it is the growth of the city following the rules of the marketplace which threaten them. It is usually no more than negligence which makes them vulnerable. The majority of these buildings however deserve to be rescued for the use and enjoyment of the community.
Mentre preparava aquest recull d’informacions sobre l’Arteria Paral·lel, el primer dels nous teatres que estan a punt d’instal·lar-se al Paral·lel de Barcelona, m’he adonat que les sigles SGAE es repetien molt més que paraules com teatre, música, cultura, artista, espectacle, espectador… Introduiré doncs aquest capítol explicant quines són, i sobretot quines han estat les meves relacions amb aquesta entitat, des del Tremp dels anys 50’s, des del Madrid dels 60’s, i fins a l’actualitat. Ho faré en breu!
